Hello,

can you please make sure you really installed the .NET Frameworks successfully?

Can you please go to control panel -> Add/Remove programs and make a screenshot (Press the Print key and then go to e.g. Paint and select Edit -> Insert. Then save it as .JPG and upload it here). There we can see your Microsofts .NET Framework.

Regards

Martin

Hello David / Martin,

Sorry, I had to travel and just rtn'ed.

I have downloaded the links provided and installed them. It still seems that I have a new error message:

Starting the program gets me to the "Stardraw Updater". Select "english" and I get an error message with the following:

"The application generated an exception that cannot be handled"

"Process id: 0xd30(3376)"

"Thread id: 0xde4(3556)

I apologise in advance for taking up the bandwidth and am hoping to resolve this as soon as possible.

Best Regards,

Reeve

Hello Reeve,

download these and install them:

Download .NET Framework 1.1 from Microsoft.com

Download .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft.com

Please make also sure that you don't run .NET applications from a network drive!

Regards

Martin

Hi David,

Thanks for the response. I am trying to download these. I recall there was a download available on Stardraw's website; but am not sure. Are these available as files? Can you point me in the direction of the download sites? Cheers...

This message is produced by the .net framework.

Please make sure that you have .net 1.1 & .net 2.0 installed complete with any service packs.

If this still fails, then please uninstall them and try re-installing them.

Hi David,

I've tried everything. Even downloading Windows XP Svc Pack 3 doesn't help.

After installation of Stardraw Audio 2007, I'd click on the desktop icon. This loads up Stardraw Audio 2007 Updater (?). Select "English" and after a while the same error message comes about.

It there a way to check if my install of Windows XP is complete with all the necessary files? Anything else I can try? Let me know, Cheers...

Reeve,

This sounds like your machine is missing some windows updates.

Can you click on http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and make sure all the required updates are installed.

If you are running XP, this will install Service Pack 3.

Hi Rob,

I downloaded the programme from the link you gave and installed it. After installation, when I click to open the program, the "Stardraw Audio Updater" kicks in and the same error message comes on:

Process id=0x604(1540), Thread id=0xf14(3860)

The dongle is also plugged in too... WHot did I miss?

Hi Reeve,

How are you installing?  I suspect it is from a very, very old CD.

Throw that CD away and install the Stardraw Audio demo from our website (this becomes the full version in the presence of your dongle)

Kind regards,

Hi Rob,

The operating system is Windows XP and I believe it is 32bits. I do have administrative privileges on the computer.
