I am having a problem with grid snapping in block diagrams
When a new block is added to the drawing, I can connect to the connectors via a cable or dogleg with no problems, however, it seems that these connectors are just slightly off grid. What can I do about this? It causes drawings to look a little funny when the attachment point is almost on the grid, but not quite.
Thank you for your help in resolving this quickly.
I am currently using English Units of measurement for the grid spacing.

The attachment shows the problem that I am encountering.
Upon a fresh install, it seems to work as it should for approximately 10 drawings.
Hi Jerry,
Check that the Grid and Nudge values in your document are 2.5mm:
If the values are not 2.5mm you should check/edit the template which can be found under the Stardraw installation folder at \Templates\Block Schematic.S01
Please post again if this does not resolve your problem

Rob
Thanks,

Can you confirm that Snap to Grid is on?
If you'd like to reply attaching a drawing that exhibits the problem, we'd be happy to look at it and post a solution. Kind regards,Rob RobinsonStardraw.com
That's the problem - you have turned Snap to Grid off.
With Snap to Grid on, when you insert a symbol into a document its IO stubs will align exactly with gridpoints, and any connections you draw will align exactly to the IO stubs.
If you turn Snap to Grid off, symbols will never be on the grid, however carefully you position them. This is why Snap to Grid is on by default when you create new documents based on the default Block Schematic template.
I hope this is helpful. Kind regards,Rob RobinsonStardraw.com
As posted earlier in the thread, you need to ensure the following:
