Can I get some help? I have a problem with Stardraw that has not been addressed since I sent two messages to tech supporton the 24th of February and again on March 7th. I also have not received any feedback from sales, who I sent a message on March 9th. Below are the emails I have sent:

tech support:
"I tried your Stardraw A/V demo and have now bought the full product. I installed the program from the disc that was sent along with the dongle. However, when I start Stradraw, it still notifies me that I have XX amount of days until the demo runs out. I have checked the dongle via your website and it identifes the dongle and its expiration of March 2006. I have updated the HASP driver also."

sales:
"I purchased Stardraw AV and installer per your instructions. I still get an expiration notice for the demo software that was previously installed. Do I need an unlock code? My site code is..."

I'm afraid that I will be unable to save in less than a week. HELP!!

Hi Travis,

I'm sorry that you did not receive a reply to your emails - we're unsure what happened to your messages, perhaps it was an over-zealous spam filter.  Apologies.

Please download and install www.stardraw.com/downloads/stardrawav.exe and allow the LiveUpdate to complete.  This should resolve your problem - please email me with the results.

I'm not sure what happened with all the other replies.  I did receive notification about your posting at the same email address.  I do not have a spam filter applies to this email address.

 

Well, I did download per your instructions and allowed Live update to complete.  It worked for less than a day and now it is back showing that the demo expires in four days.  Just for some background info for you, prior to sending the first email correspondence, I had tried Live Update, checking the dongle, updating the dongle about once a day, and it didn't help either.  Thanks for your assistance in this matter.  Is there some unlock key I need to enter as noted under the menu heading Menu/About Stadraw.../Security?

Hi Travis,

The Unlock Key is only used as a temporary solution when, for example, a dongle is physically damaged.  What we need to do is find out why your installation is not seeing the dongle.

You said that "It worked for less than a day" - are you absolutely certain that you managed to start Stardraw without the demo message displaying?

Can you give us answers to the following questions:

a) What Operating System are you using?
b) What browser and version are you using?
c) Do you have administrative proivleges on th machine you are using?
d) What is shown when you run Stardraw and select Help | About Stardraw? (a screengrab would be helpful)
