I'm trying to import an AutoCAD file for plan view so I can mark up some speaker positions. The file has been forward to us by our client and I should point out that I don't have access to AutoCAD to make any modifications - although I dare say this wouldn't be too much of an issue if there was something that needs changing.

Each time try to import the file I get an error as below... any ideas what is going wrong?

Thanks, Chris.

The following details will be sent to Stardraw.com Ltd:

Hi Chris,

It looks like there's some font information that is causing the error.

Please email the original DWG to 'techsupport @ stardraw . com' and we will investigate a fix. Thanks.

Kind regards,
Rob Robinson

Hi Chris,

As you'll have seen we have been able to open the DWG file and have emailed you the results as a SD7 file.

Since the problem appears to be local we have asked that you confirm that both your Windows installation and your SD7 installation are up to date.

Kind regards,
Rob Robinson
