I also need to know how to lock in accessories to the original device. Example: Crestron DM-MD 8x8 has Input Slots and Output Slots. The Input Card locked in but the Output Card did not.

On the DM-MD you will see 'Module Targets' running down the left side - they look like a bow-tie rotated at 90 degrees.  When you insert an input or output card ensure that you drop it when your cursor is on one of these module targets - this snaps the IO card into place.

Kind regards,

It worked for the accessories from the Offline/Online libraries, but I can not get it to work with the devices that I have created in My Libraries.  I took a DMCO-11 and changed it for the new DMCO-44 and saved this in My Libraries.  It is like it does not know it is an accessory.

Hi Curtis,

Symbols have an Insertion Point.  This is the point that sits on your cursor when you drag the symbol into a drawing.  For these particular symbols the Insertion Point must be at the bottom left corner of the red outline - this is the point that snaps to the module target in the card frame.

When you drag the symbol into the Library List to create a user symbol, the Insertion Point is set at the gridpoint nearest to where you picked the symbol up. So, when you drag the original DMC-011 into the Library List, pick it up at the bottom left-hand corner.  Your modified symbol will now slot correctly into the cardframe.

Kind regards,
