In a thread called Cable Properties, Rob had responded with
1) Using "Symbol_xxxxxxxxx" Attribute in the Document"Symbol_" attributes are added to every cable, dogleg and symbol that is added to the document. a) Display the Document Properties sheet (doubleclick anywhere on the document, or rightclick and select Properties) and go to the Attributes tab.b) Create a new Attribute with the prefix "Symbol_", e.g. "Symbol_StartConnector" and click on OKc) Draw a Cable or Dogleg - you will see that it now includes an Attribute called "StartConnector"
You could add this attribute to the Document template (found in the Templates directory under the main Stardraw program installation directory) to cause the same effect in every document based on that template.
I have tried #1, the new attributes show up while drawing and the results are visible in the reports section of the drawing. I do not see the results when using tools/ reports.
#2, The attribute do not show up in the drawing.
I am also trying to get a connector list.
Thanks, Bill
If you have added a new attribute e.g. StartConnector, you will need to modify a report template so that it can pick up on the attribute name and extract its value from the drawing. In the Excel report template you would do this by naming a cell (select Insert | Name | Define) and, in this case, you could name the cell Summary_StartConnector. Follow the link below for more info on customizing reports:

Can you explain further your point #2? - I'm missing something. To what does this relate?
Thanks
Rob
