how is the scroll wheel of the mouse supposed to control the view? I get a mix between zoom in/out and scroll up/down when I use the scroll wheel on my track ball. I am used from AutoCAD that I can use my scroll wheel to zoom in/out, with reference to my cursor location on the screen. is there something I miss as all I get is a mix between zoom in or out , but with the added feature of moving up or down.

I want it to zoom in or out only.

Thanks & Best Regards

Hi Hanspeter,

Normal operation of the mousewheel is as follows:

Mousewheel = zoom in/out to cursor

Shift + Mousewheel = pan vertical

Ctrl + Shift + Mousewheel = pan horizontal

Please check your mousewheel settings and/or install the latest driver from the manufacturer.

Kind regards,

What Make and Model of mouse are you using?

What driver is installed?  Have you installed the latest mouse driver from the manufacturer's website?

What, if any, utilities are running that relate to the mouse?

Kind regards,

Hi Mike,

Is the Logitech Setpoint application running in the background/system tray?  Does the problem persist if you shut the Setpoint utility down?

Kind regards,
