We're wondering what Stardraw determine are data and control ports on devices so when we make our own blocks we match the standard?

IE, USB, Ethernet, RS232 etc etc

When we add a block schematic symbol there are 7 options for ports. Data and Control are separate options

Both layers also exist as default

Just wanting to be clear

In the UPD wizard, you have the option to specify additional ports, these are: Lighting, Data, and User.  You may use these additional layers in your UDPs as you wish.  However, all published symbols, the symbols that we author in-house, and that are published to the libraries in SD7, conform to the layers specified in my previous post.  In other words, the symbols we provide do not contain any ports on the Lighting, Data, and User layers.
