Multiple fixes and enhancements including:
  • Cable connections are established when you drag a product symbol onto pre-existing cables, wherever a cable start/endpoint coincides with an IO stub on the symbol.
  • Improvements to import of .S01 files:
    • Use File | Open Project and choose Files of Type: Stardraw AV 2007 to create a new project based on the .S01 drawing.  Symbols are interpreted as products and added to the project and where possible, unrecognized symbols are added to SD7 and the project as User Defined Products.  Drawing type (Block Schematic, Rack Layout etc) is recognized and the appropriate Product List is shown in drawing interface so that new symbols of the correct type can be added.
    • Use File | Import to create a new drawing based on a .S01 file.  In this case symbols are not converted to products to avoid double-counting and other symbol/product conflicts. The drawing type is recognized so that the appropriate Product List is shown, and the appropriate symbols shown in the Symbols Palette so that 'quasi-symbols' can be deleted and replaced with product symbols.
    • Cable/Dogleg objects are converted to cables with cable functionality preserved.
  • New Product Grid with drag/drop re-sizable, re-orderable columns, and dynamically generated columns for custom Product Attributes.
  • Keyboard accelerators for Arrange | Order functionality:
    • Move to Front : Ctrl+Shift+F
    • Move to Back : Ctrl+Shift+B
    • Move Forward : Ctrl+F
    • Move Back : Ctrl+B
  • Adds Arrange | Mirror functionality to add copy of selection, mirrored in any X or Y axis.
  • Adds ability to define DWG units when importing.
  • Adds ability to remove products from project from within a drawing.  Press Shift+Delete to delete product from project.
  • Adds ability to edit engraving on connector symbol (Panel Layout drawings) by doubleclicking on connector symbol.
  • Adds Export to Excel: from Products View select Export to create an Excel spreadsheet containing all the information from the products grid.
  • Fixes bug in Rack Layout drawings where switching views in a particular order made symbols apparently move across the screen.
  • Fixes bug where newly-added manufacturer libraries would not appear in Product List in current session but required application restart.
  • Adds interface to allow user definition of custom Attributes under Tools | Personalization | Settings.
  • Fixes bug in which, at distant zooms, cable might connect to the wrong IO stub.
