Major update addressing many areas:

  • Adds interface for managing AutoSave settings including turn AutoSave On/Off and set AutoSave interval.  Accessed through Tools | Personalization | Settings.
  • Changes to anti-aliasing so that drawings render onscreen more distinctly; drawing objects like lines, rectangles, cables etc are now not anti-aliased to give a 'clean' onscreen appearance, while text is anti-aliased to render smoothly and legibly onscreen.  Does not impact on print output.
  • Renames "External Data Source" to "Product Attributes", rationalizes Attribute handling and naming in the Properties Grid.
  • Adds the feature Edit | Update Attribute Values, allowing on-demand re-synchronization against current data in Product Attributes spreadsheet.
  • Adds automatic connection of cables to valid connection points when moving multiple cables.
  • Fixes bug that caused the failure of import of Stardraw AV 2007 .S01 files containing OLE objects, e.g. bitmap images.  The OLE object is discarded but, in the case of images, can be re-inserted using the original image file using Stardraw Design 7's superior image handling tools.
