The Symbol Wizard is found in the Tools menu, but is only available in drawings based on the Block Schematic template.

Regarding ordering, objects are stacked in the order that they are drawn, the idea being that you lay down symbols and then add connections using Doglegs/Cables (which will then cover the IO stubs).  If you have created the connections BEFORE adding the symbol then you will need to re-order on a connection by connection basis, but you may find that using the FastKey combination Ctrl+Shift+F for Move to Front saves time.

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,

Can't find this symbol wizard, not even in the help file.  Where is it?  I must be going blind.

I would like to be able to add connectors to my schematics (which are mixed in with pictorials).

Speaking of connectors, when I use connectors, it would be nice if the cyan color retreated below the line color, it looks weird as on the final drawing.  Is there a quick global way of addressing that problem, (I am aware I can do a draw order per line, but that is time consuming).

Thanks
