Hi Hanspeter,

If you do not have a current subscription the following applies:

  • You can use Stardraw AV 2007 as normal i.e. create new files, edit existing ones, save, print etc.
  • You can use any symbols you have previously downloaded using Synchronize Manufacturers i.e. Offline Libraries, or symbols that you have created yourself, i.e My Libraries
  • You cannot access online services, namely Synchronize Manufacturers and Online Libraries
  • We cannot offer free, unlimited technical support

In your post you say "all brand-specific symbols are gone".  What exactly do you mean by this?  If your Offline Libraries previously contained manufacturer symbols it sounds like the pointer to that library has changed.  The location that Stardraw looks in can be seen under Options | Library Directories.

If you recently installed the latest version of Stardraw AV be sure that you followed all the steps, particularly Step 5 shown at http://www.stardraw.com/products/stardrawav/installer.asp

Kind regards,
Rob Robinson

Does this mean that without renewal I will not be able to use any symbols (except generic)? At present I can not edit drawings generated last year since all brand-specific symbols are gone. I would have expected that a renewal is required for new symbols only? Please advise.

Thanks & Best Regards

Hi Hanspeter,

You simply need to renew your subscription.  You can do this by clicking on the Subscription Expired message that shows when you run Stardraw AV, or go to http://www.stardraw.com/Products/PricingDesign.asp and click on the Order Now link next to Stardraw AV 2007 Subscription.

I hope this is helpful

Kind regards,

I have Stardraw A/V 2007 expired end of 2008, so I have no longer access to new symbols and online libraries.

How do I renew my subscription? If I try on the website I can only select to upgrade from Stardraw A/V 2007 to Stardraw A/V 2007, as no newer version is listed (its now 2009), and this shows up as no charge/not available.

I sure wont have to purchase a full license again just to receive the latest library updates?

Thanks for your advise.

Thanks & Best Regards
