It would be helpfull when creating new symbols with the symbol wizard that the default labels be a tad more descriptive. Currently they are I/O 1.... O/P 1... and so on. If you could make a simple change that shows what input they are for that would be great A-I/O 1 for audio inputs, V-O/P 1 for video outputs, C-I/O 1 for control and so on. this way we do not have to try to figure out which one is what and just use the defaults or make our own.



Also would be nice to have a symbol search capability. There are a ton of model numbers and sometimes they are not in the folder that I think that they would be so this would be very helpful. An advanced version of this would be nice to see all instances of the search request to show all versions (block, pictorial, etc) of the search it finds. That way I can see if all of the equipment I am using has a pictorial before I decide to spend the time building that drawing only to find there is a block version but not a pic version.

Thanks for the suggestion - this has been added to the development wishlist.

With regard to Search functionality, this is already in place.  Simply rightclick on a folder in the Library List and select Search from the popup menu.  The Search dialog should be self-explanatory and it includes all the features you describe.
