I guess the buttons are shaded out because you are drawing a block schematic, and there is now rear or front view. Could you take a screenshot and upload it?

You doing this by pressing the print key on your keyboard and run an application like paint and paste it there. Remember to save it as in JPG file.

Hi Adam,

It sounds like you're using Pictorial symbols in an environment other than Pictorial Schematic.

In the middle of the Status Bar at the bottom of the application window you can see the current Environment and Layer - so you should see something like "Pictorial Schematic : Parts".

The View buttons are greyed out by design in the Block Schematic environment, so I suspect you're either using this environment, or you have started with a non-Stardraw document.  Even in a document that did not begin life in Stardraw, e.g. an imported DWG, you can still make sure that the symbols display correctly by adjusting your layer settings manually: rightclick, select Document and go to the Layers tab.  To make Pictorial symbols show their front, not their rear view, ensure that Front High Detail is displayed, and Rear High Detail is not.

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards,

hey,

ive got a problem when i input pictorial blocks into a drawing. the blocks seem to be depicted as the back view of the equipment. ive tried toggling the view buttons but they are shaded out and are not able to be used. has anyone had this problem or knows how to fix it?
