I use StrawDraw AV a lot to open .dwg drawings from architects and then draw in speakers and other components where we need them on the print.

Lately, it seems that I can not get some .dwg files to open properly unless I request the architect to save them in an older version of autocad.

Is there an autocad version we should be requesting of the architects?  Or can StrawDraw AV be updated to accept the latest releases?   I am running the current up-to-date StarDraw AV software.

Thanks,

Bob.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your post.  Stardraw AV currently supports all AutoCAD versions up to and including AutoCAD 2005.

We do plan to add support for later versions of AutoCAD and will notify all users as soon as this functionality is available.

Kind regards,
Rob Robinson
