I'd like to show inline splice points, daisy chaining.

Is there a best practice in Stardraw?

As shown in my example drawing.  I have one line from the amp.  It will terminate at speaker A and then daisy chain to the next speaker.

Is there an easy way to add the dot similar to what's shown in the speakers?

Can this splice be tracked in cable reports?

Thanks

Hi Tom,

Cables connect only to the connection points defined by the IO stubs on product symbols and it is this connection that is critical to generation of the cable Schedule so best practice is to draw the Cable all the way from one product to the other.  In 'splice' situations the multiple cables running from one product to several different destinations will exactly overlay each other for part of the journey and then diverge at the splice point.

Addition of a dot to indicate the splice point would be a manual process which you could achieve just with a filled circle, or use a custom symbol.

p.s. In your screengrab, look out for the typo "Balcony Spekaers"

Kind regards,
