Hello there.

Since the last couple of updates to 7.4, I'm having real issues importing DWG's into Stardraw. Previously the success rate of an import was around 90%, but now it seems to have dropped off a cliff, with most imports resulting in an error screen like this:

Any thoughts as to what the issue could be?

Hi Dan,

Can I ask that you send the DWG to techsupport@stardraw.com - we'll be happy to investigate and, if it's a reproducible bug, we will be able to publish a fix.

It might be an issue with the source DWG so if you can send us the file we can get to the bottom of it and generate usable data - thanks.

Kind regards,

For those following this thread, the issue causing the error on importing DWG files was fixed in the update to Stardraw Design 7.4 published on April 3rd.
For full details of this substantial update see https://www.stardraw.com/sd7/support/changelogs/changelog250403

Apologies for not responding Rob, didn't realise you'd replied. Can confirm that the issue has been resolved now and I am able to import DWG's as a whole, including large and complex files.
