HI,

I have a weird scaling issue. i'm using an ultrawide external monitor which is set to 100% scaling. When i place a block and then try and drag it around the workspace it is offset to the left and doesn't follow the mouse pointer. If i zoom in to the block the offset gets smaller.

setup
laptop monitor, HD resolution scaling 125%
if drawing on the laptop monitor the problem isnt there
if moving the window to the external monitor the problem is there.

if both displays are set to 100%, no issue on either display
if i set the scaling on both to 125%, no problem

so it appears the scaling issue is when both monitors are on different scaling percentages.

not a big issue as i can just change the laptop scaling when working in Stardraw, but it would be nice if it didnt do it.

Thanks for your post.
Because you have started the application on the laptop monitor
@125% the application is responding to that scaling.

When you drag the application window to the other monitor, SD7 is still running at 125% but the monitor is using 100%, hence the offset.
Close SD7, drag the desktop icon over to the monitor on which you intend to work and start it there; it will initiate at the scaling of the monitor on which it starts up.
Please let us know if this does not solve the problem.

Thanks for the quick response.

When i do that i get the splash screen on the external monitor, but the main window opens on the laptop monitor and the same issue is there.

Please check your Windows settings to ensure that you have not set things up so that applications run by default on the primary monitor, or search Windows documentation for how to make programs run on a specific monitor.
