Hi All,

This morning I have nothing appearing in the "Stardraw Products" part of the device Tree. The app is logged in. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Things to check:
  1. Have you entered something into the Search box at the top of the Product Browser which yields no results; this would cause an empty tree by design.
  2. Is your list of Selected Manufacturers populated? Go to Tools | Personalization | Manufacturer Libraries to check that the list of Selected Manufacturers (the righthand list) is showing the libraries you need.
  3. Has Synchronization completed on that computer? In Tools | Personalization | Manufacturer Libraries add a library to the Selected Manufacturers list then click on OK and wait for Synchronization to complete; you'll see its progress in the Status Bar, bottom left of the application window.  Wait until you see "Synchronization Complete" and then "Ready".
  4. Are you looking at the Product Browser control, or the Symbol Browser (which is the tab behind the Product Browser tab at the bottom of the control)?
  5. Are you in a drawing type for which products by your selected manufacturers have symbols?  For example, if you're working in a Panel Layout drawing, only symbols of panels and connectors will be listed in the Product Browser.
If none of these checks solve your problem please email a screengrab of your entire screen to techsupport@stardraw.com and also let us know the email address that you use to sign in.  Note: screengrabs are best achieved using the Windows Screen Snip tool (Shift + Windows Key + S).

Kind regards,

Hi Rob, 1,2 & 3 are not an issue. 4. Product Browser. 5. All of the Stardraw products in the product browser are gone.

Thanks for sending the screengrabs.

We have replied in detail by email but, for those following the thread, nothing was showing in the Product Browser for Rack Layout drawings because all Manufacturers bar one had been removed from your list of Selected Manufacturers and the one that remained - JL Audio - at time of writing had no rackmount products in the library.

Behavior was therefore correct and the issue would have been revealed by following the step #2 above; "Go to Tools | Personalization | Manufacturer Libraries to check that the list of Selected Manufacturers (the righthand list) is showing the libraries you need."

Kind regards,
