In the New User Defined Product Wizard there is a page:

I need to be able to get into this dialog box from the Create User Defined Product from Product menu so I can create a product with different I/O, but I don't get that dialog.

The only option is to choose edit Block Diagram and then it skips the above page and goes into the symbol editor which doesn't have the IO editing.

I think that this used to work, but it doesn't seem to anymore.

Hi Hendrik,

You can use the UDP Wizard to edit an existing UDP symbol only if that symbol was created by the UDP Wizard and is unmodified.

If the UDP was created from an existing product or its symbols have been edited then the only way to edit the symbols is via the Symbol Editor.

In the Symbol Editor you can do anything you want using the freeform drawing interface; you can create, edit, move, copy and delete IOs (and everything else) using the drawing tools in the Symbol Editor.

So, everything is working as it should, it's just a fact that you can't edit custom/edited symbols using the UDP Wizard.

I hope this makes sense.

Kind regards,
