To do what you want use the Print Area function found in the File menu.Choose File | Print Area | Set and then drag to mark the chosen area - you'll see a red rectangle while you're dragging, although this is hidden once it's been Set. Now when you choose to Print that drawing it will only print the contents of the Print Area so you can just Print to PDF in the normal way to generate a PDF of that section of the drawing..You remove the Print Area by choosing File | Print Area | Clear.I hope this is helpful.
