Hi Lloyd,

Thanks for your post and apologies for the delay in replying - there has been an issue recently with notifications about new posts.

I think there are 2 issues to address. One is the import of this particular DWG. The other is how to use that as a Title Block in the best way.

The second point is largely explained in the movie “Customizing Title Blocks” at https://www1.stardraw.com/stardraw/sd7/movies

Regarding the first point, if you can email the DWG file to techsupport@stardraw.com we would be happy to examine it and see why there is an issue with the text.

Kind regards,

I have been given a CAD created DWG File title block by a client and asked if I can use their title block instead of our own.

I am trying to work out how to‌ use this as a title block without having to redraw the whole thing as a custom title block. When imported as a DWG file it open with all the line lines correct but no text for some reason.

But can anyone suggest how I open and use it as a title block please?

Thanks
Lloyd :-)‌‌
