Improvements to PDF import, adding support for previously unhandled image formats, hatch patterns and text.
New read-only Property "Entity Count" added to drawing Properties Grid. This shows the number of bottom-level 'primitives' e.g. Line, Rectangle, Text object, making it easier to evaluate the 'size' of a drawing in terms of the number of objects it contains.
Added support for XREFs in DWG import.
Undo/Redo buffer is now cleared on Save. This means that users are less likely to encounter 'Out of Memory' errors during long working sessions or when operating on larger project files - so long as a Save is done from time to time - but also means that actions can only be Undone back to the last Save.
Added support for RackTools 3.5 files. RackTools 3.5. is the Middle Atlantic Products rack design software, developed by Stardraw.com, and Stardraw Design 7.2 can now be used to edit RackTools (.S05) files.
Improvements to Product Browser | Search box; 'debounce' implemented so that searching occurs after a pause in typing, rather than with each character typed, massively improving perceived performance. 'Clear' button added. Support for keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+A added.
Added support for direct paste of Unicode text, e.g. Chinese characters, into drawings to create a new multiline text object.
Fix to displayed text height on rotated text objects.
Improvements to Cable Schedule to handle unexpected connections, ensuring that all Cables in the project and all their Attributes and connected Products are listed fully and correctly.
Print Dialog updated to respect the current drawing tab order.
Change to 'rubber-banding' behavior so that 'floating' horizontal cables - which are single-segment Cables connected to a symbol at one end only - stay horizontal if the connected symbol is moved vertically.
To get the latest version with all these improvements, run Stardraw Design 7.2 and click on

when prompted.
Kind regards,
Rob Robinson
