Hi Kenneth,

You must have a directory for Stardraw Design 7.3, because you're running Stardraw Design 7.3! Smile

Wherever you have installed the program files to, that is where you will find the Title Block Template files.

The default installation folder is "C:\Program Files\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw Design 7.3" but if you chose a different installation location I'm afraid I won't be able to suggest where to look.

Kind regards,

I also have the same problem, I have saved my Company Logo under personalization but when I ad a standard Title block the Stardraw logo appears instead.
Do you have any solution for that?

Hi Kenneth,

Make sure that the path to the title block file is pointing to the default program installation folder; logo substitution only happens when the title block templates file is in the installation folder.

For Stardraw Design 7.3 the correct folder is:
C:\Program Files\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw Design 7.3

If you have upgraded from an earlier version make sure the path is not pointing at the older version's installation folder i.e. it must NOT be pointing to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw Design 7.2

I hope this is helpful.

Ok, I have no directory for 7.3, should I reinstall 7.3 with that directory

The title block is in the default location.  When I choose it the custom logo shows in the box,
h‌owever when I press the OK button it loads all of the info except the custom logo.
i‌t shows the Stardraw logo.

H‌owever, after 5 tries, I know have the proper info in my title block.
I'm not sure what changed my outcome, but I'm moving on and will address it if it comes up again.

T‌hanks for the reply‌

Hi David,

T‌here have been no recent updates that would change any behavior relating to Title Blocks.

T‌he logo substitution functionality operates as follows;
1‌) If the Title Block template file is in the default program installation folder (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw Design 7.2") then the image from the template will be substituted with the Company Logo stored in Tools | Personalization | Personal Details.
2‌) If the Title Block template file is somewhere else, i.e. it is a custom Title Block template, then no images will be substituted; we just use whatever image(s) is in the template, because it's custom. ‌ ‌

I‌f you are working in scenario (1) and you see no logo image at all, it is likely that the image substitution has failed, for example if you've changed the personal logo ‌file and it's now a very large image; this could cause an "Out of Memory" error.
‌‌
Question 1: W‌hen you insert a Title Block, do you see the default Stardraw logo, or do you see no logo at all?
Q‌uestion 2: What changes, if any, have you made to either Tools | Personalization or the Title Block template since image substitution last worked?

Is anyone else having issues with logos showing up on the custom title block?
I‌t had been working fine, but now when I ad a title block, the company information all shows up as usual, but the logo does not.
W‌hen i look in the Tools, personalization, personal details tab, it is still there.

D‌id an update change something.‌

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your post.  Yes, functionality such as you describe is on the development wishlist but for now you will need to stick with the way you do things today.

There is a workaround for the effect you describe, where a re-inserted title block re-sizes to encompass manual notes; simply put these notes on a dedicated layer, and hide that layer when you re-insert the title block.

I hope this is helpful.

Hi guys
Playing around with titleblocks..
I would really like to have the Project Notes field appear in the notes-field in the titleblock.
Is this possible?
Or even better, have a separate notes field for each drawing.
Would be nice to put revision notes in that field for easy reporting directly on the drawing.
Possible in future release?

I could of course put a text in that field on the drawing, but that would be useless because the next time the title block gets updated the text will become a part of the drawing area.

Looking forward to your answer
