2 requests for the cable schedule - 

1 - would it be possible to choose which columns appear, or to suppress blank columns automatically?  I know you can do it manually, but it's a pain repeating it every time.

2 - could you include the layer that the cable is on in the export, as a way to check that we've got them all set correctly?

Thanks for your post - we'll look into and consider these suggestions.

Regarding the Layer question, the better solution might be to implement a workflow which guarantees that Cables will be on the right layer as they're drawn.  For example, create Cable Presets for the cable types that you use, where each preset includes the appropriate Layer designation, and ensure that when drawing your Cables you always use the right Preset for the job.  This might also improve productivity as you will no longer need to manually assign Layers to Cable objects after they've been drawn (or you can retrospectively assign a Preset to any existing Cables).
