I have created a drawing in AutoCAD 13.  While in the AutoCAD program, I have inserted a pdf underlay,  and also a raster image references.  I have then created symbols and lines using the AutoCAD program, saved and closed the drawing.  When I import this drawing into Stardraw,  the symbols and lines are visible, but any pdf underlays or image files are not showing.

Non-native objects are not supported when importing DWG files, i.e. if something didn't start life in AutoCAD (or was not converted into native ACAD objects) then it can't be imported directly from DWG.

If you have the original raster image, then you can insert it directly into Stardraw Design 7 using the Insert Picture tool.

PDFs cannot be inserted or imported directly, but you can convert them into something that can be used, like an image or a DWG file, using third party tools e.g. www.aidecad.com
