We are delighted to announce a major upgrade to the award-winning design and documentation software, Stardraw Design 7, which will be publically unveiled at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas this month.

Stardraw Design 7.1 is the evolution of our seventh-generation application for AV systems integrators and includes a host of new features, all based on requests and feedback from the Stardraw user community across more than 80 countries worldwide, as well as a number of bug fixes and enhancements to existing functionality.

New features include:

• Cable Bridges: automatically inserts bridges or 'humps' where cables cross.
• New Print Tools: batch printing, tile to multiple pages, print area and monochrome.
• Enhanced Text Mode: increases size of Schematic symbol IO labels.
• DWG 2013-2015: supports the very latest AutoCAD formats.
• Bind Text to Attributes: display custom Attribute values in UDP symbols.
• Hide IO Stubs: toggle display of IO stubs - makes drawings neater.
• Drawing Tab Management: re-order the drawings in your project.
• Align Origins to Grid: easily re-position symbols that have been moved off-grid.
• Updated Products View: cut/copy/paste, sorting and links to every drawing in your project.
• Stage Lighting Symbols: a new library of 11,000 symbols of stage lighting products for use in Plan View.
• Security Symbols: 845 SIA standard symbols of security, surveillance, access control and related products, for use in Plan View.
