New Functionality: Cable Presets
Cable Presets define the characteristics of Cable objects to speed up drawing and editing time; a major productivity enhancement.
Define Color, Layer, Line Style, Labels and Attribute values.
Pre-select a Cable Preset before drawing a Cable to create new cables of that type.
Apply a Cable Preset to existing cables to set all styling, label and attribute values in a single action.
Rightclick to create a new Cable Preset from an existing Cable.
Create, edit and delete Cable Presets using the Cable Preset Editor.
Default Cable Presets include Audio, Control, Data, Lighting, Power, Video.
Create and edit unlimited custom Cable Presets.
Your Cable Presets are stored on the Cloud and linked to your user account so that they are synchronized to and available on any computer you use to run Stardraw Design 7.
Access Cable Preset functionality in the following ways:
Dropdown button in the Toolbar, next to Cable button.
Rightclick on a Cable
Menu: Drawing | Cable
Menu: Tools | Personalization | Cable Attributes & Presets
See the
Cable Presets Movie
for full details.
Also in this update:
Properties Grid | Layer dropdown updated to show hidden/locked status of layers.
Allows objects to be moved to a hidden layer.
Fixes issue where changing the Measurement unit in a drawing might not be reflected in the Properties Grid
Kind regards,
Rob Robinson
