Hi,

After automatic reboot of my computer all revisions I've done in an SD7 project is gone.
Autosave in personalization is activated and set to 5 minutes.

Is the autosaved file saved somewhere else or with a different ending?
I can't find it...

Hi Kenneth,

AutoSave is a 'disaster-recovery' function. If the application exits abnormally, whether because of a power cut or system failure, Stardraw Design 7 will automatically load any autosave files the next time it starts up.

If the program exits normally, all autosave files are removed.

So, if you are asked whether to open an autosave file on program startup you can, but if you're not asked, there are no files available.

AutoSave is not a 'backup' feature - it is only there to automatically recover files in the event of application or system failure.

We always recommend saving regularly - in any application, not just Stardraw applications - and personally I feel very uncomfortable if I have been working for more than 10 minutes without saving.

Kind regards,
Rob Robinson

Well we are after all humans and sometimes you forget to save...You should be able to recover your work after automatic patch and reboot of windows...
Microsoft office is a good example of how it should be handled.

Thanks for a fast answer!
