I did a quick search for this and found nothing other than someone asking exactly the same questions. Seeing as there was no reply, and no other questions about it I must have missed something. So at the risk of looking stupid here I go... Whistling

Is there any way to change the size of the dimension arrow? By default this is huge when working in the panel layout module esp. as when you're working down in millimetres spacing it just looks ridiculous. Anything below 15mm involves the arrows completely converging... switching the arrows to the outside of the measurement would be a start, but in any event I'd really like to be able to reduce their overall size. How do I do this?

Second question... is there any way of changing the arrow head size on a regular line? Changing the thickness of the line does increase the size but I end up with massively thick lines both on the screen and printed. If you go for the default 0.1mm the arrow's pretty much non existent. Again how can this be done as I can't see anything obvious.

Cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris,

Apologies for the delay in replying.

The short answer is that it is not possible, currently, to adjust arrowhead size. The reason is that linestyles, including arrowheads, are handled by Windows and this is not standard functionality provided by the Windows API.

We will look into writing the custom code required to provide such functionality and of course there are many things that could be done so it would be useful to know what you would expect/need the behavior to be. Is it as simple as setting a fixed height (or length) in 'world' space?

Regarding drawing circles, the option to draw from the center would be sensible and we will add this to the development schedule. For now you might find it useful to employ the Arrange | Align tools to position circles, ellipses etc accurately in relation to the grid or other objects.

Thanks for your input.

Kind regards,
