A GUID (globally unique ID) is created by Stardraw Design 7 to uniquely identify each product instance in the project.
When you export an Equipment List, the first column in the generated spreadsheet is the GUID for each product instance in your project.
Since the GUID is system-generated, you should not edit or copy GUIDs - leave them exactly as they are.
If you want to add product instances by importing from the equipment list, copy the Manufacturer, Model Number and Description fields for the products you want, but leave the GUID field blank; on import a new product instance will be created in the project and at this point a GUID will be assigned.
Note that to add a product in this way, the Manufacturer, Model Number and Description values must exactly match a product or UDP that is already in the library.
I hope this is helpful but if I've missed the point please do feel free to email the project file (.s07) and equipment list (.xls) files to
