Thanks for your post. The symbols you are referring to have been ‘based on generics’ and are designed to be placeholders – to give you something to use in your system designs whilst we track down the information required to create the high detail symbols that will replace them.
When a symbol is requested and we are unable to obtain detailed product information in a reasonable time frame – we will often publish generic based symbols such as these for the Rack and Pictorial environments – all block schematic symbols published are accurate and show details of all available inputs and outputs.
We are constantly reviewing symbols published in the libraries which are generic based - and chasing the relevant manufacturers for their product drawings and datasheets.
If you have contact with any of the manufacturers that we are awaiting product information from, please give them a nudge – as a manufacturer’s customer you will perhaps have more leverage and could help speed things up. We certainly appreciate any help you can provide.
