Adds "Make

P
roduct from..." features which allow the creation of new UDPs from Stardraw library products, other UDPs, or any arbitrary selection in any drawing. This is a very powerful and flexible set of utilities that open up, extend and simplify the process of creating the custom library that you want.
'Make User Defined Product from...' commands are accessed by rightclicking on something on which a UDP can be based.
In the Product Browser, rightclick on a product to select "Make User Defined Product from Product". This will create an exact copy of the base product, including all its symbols.
In a drawing, rightclick on a symbol to select "Make User Defined Product from Product". This will create an exact copy of the product that the symbol represents, including all symbols for all drawing environments.
In a drawing, rightclick on any selection of objects to select "Make User Defined Product from Selection". This will create a new User Defined Product with a symbol for the current environment based on the current selection.
A new UDP created in this way appears in the Product Browser under the User Defined Products root and will be highlighted once it has been created.
UDPs created in this way can be edited in a freeform fashion - rightclick on the UDP and select Edit Symbols to go into symbol editing mode and make any changes you want to your new symbols.
Also in this update:
Removes validation of Manufacturer/Model Number/Description fields in UDPs, i.e. you can now have a UDP with exactly the same Manufacturer, Model Number and Description fields as an existing Stardraw library product.
Kind regards,
Rob Robinson
