Hello,

We use the reporting feature. When we generate a report and send it to the printer the paper format is defaulted for A4 format and this causes a hold up at the printer because we do not have A4 paper.
Our printer by default is set to print to letter format but Stardraw 7.2 does not seem to take this into consideration.

How do we get Stardraw 7.2 to generate reports in letter format and print in letter format by default?

Hi Pasquale,

The default page setup for Reports is A4 and the default cannot, I'm afraid, be changed.

However, you can change the Report to use Letter - use the Page Setup button in the Reports Viewer, found between the Save and Print buttons, to select Letter for the Paper Size - and this should resolve the issue at the printer end.  The downside is that you need to do this each time you print, but it's only 4 clicks so hopefully not too onerous.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for 4-click shortcut. However it does cause trouble when we forget. Printer must be rebooted to clear its memory.

An option to change the default report format will be greatly appreciated please.
