#1, I don't know why anyone would want to do this, but is it possible in Design 7? If so, how?

You can create Arcs by starting with an Ellipse, then drag the handle that sits on the circumference.

You can also use the Properties Grid to specify the start and end angle of an ellipsoid arc.

To create a Circle, and hence circular arc, hold the Shift key while drawing the Ellipse - this creates a perfect circle.
