When I draw a line on a schematic that is pre-drawn and attempt to change the width of the line, the width magnifies significantly. If I create a new diagram and attempt to change the width of the line, the width magnifies appropriately.  Is it possible for me to draw a line and change its width on a pre-drawn schematic?

How are you changing the width of the line? Are you selecting the line and clicking on the up arrow in the toolbar next to the field that shows the width of the line?

If so, then it will increment by the Nudge X value which is defined in your document that you can modify by examining the document properties.

Alternatively, you can just type in the width you want directly into the field on the toolbar.
