i'm looking the way to rename the "xxx" on the top of each connector. I've seen in the webinar that you can rename them automaticly too...
And do you have somekind of a user manual or a movie of a webinar? (i'm pretty sure that if i can get the movie of my webinar it will be for me a good startup for my newbie question!)
Thanks a lot!
See the movie at http://www.stardraw.com/products/stardrawav/movies.asp
Regarding editing symbols (to set engraving in this case), check the Unlock button - that's the one with an open padlock at the top of the screen. 'Unlock' temporarily disables grouping throughout the whole document enabling you to edit individual objects within symbols and groups.
Important: when you've finished editing, remember to uncheck Unlock. If you do not, your symbols may fall apart as you continue to work which will cause future problems. Kind regards,Rob RobinsonStardraw.com
And this movie doesn't cover all the function as the webinar that i take last week the webinar was very cool and finally ended that i've bought it!! i'm pretty sure that was you that give that seminar?? :-)
For me i'm pretty sure that if I would have been able to have access to the movie of the webinar I would have been able to answer a majority of my questions that i have right now!
Anyway this forum seem for now to be really helpful, thanks for the quick response!

Like if i have 24 XLR chassis connector and i want to name them from 001 to 024 without having to double click on each XLR and rename them?
When i unlock and i double click on the XLR connector i can change the number but it seem to be associate with an attribute it is normal?? Normally do you associate the number of the connector with name attribute?
Sorry, it as seem pretty much easier in the webinar!

It may be that you're trying to run before you can walk and I recommend that you read up on Symbols, Text and Attributes in the Help system, but here's the techinque I use:
