Two things.

I am designing a 205x205 panel in Panel Layout and some of the components I want to add to it need a Decora cutout with screw holes. I do not find an easy way of adding this. Am I missing something? It would be nice to find under Generic/Hardware.

Some items are available in Block or Pictoral that go into Decora cutouts but not available in Panel Layout. Example: Extron/PVT HDMI RGB would go into a dual decora cutout but it's not available in the Panel Layout view. Another is the Extron/60-864-02 which in Pictoral is shown in a Decora plate already, but not available in a Panel Layout without the plate.

Thoughts?

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry for the delay in our response, we’ve been experiencing some technical issues with the forum which meant that we were not notified of your post.

Adding a Generic Decora panel to the libraries shouldn’t be a problem. The new symbol would contain cut out information on the Punching layer, which should give you exactly what you need.
Please use the Product Request System to request a Generic Decora product, and we’ll do the rest.

In answer to your second question: Please email us at symbols @ Stardraw .com with details of any Decora products available in the libraries that you need Panel symbols for and we’ll look into authoring new Panel symbols for them.
