What is the proper procedure for entering information into the "Revision" or "Notes" areas in a typical Title Block. If I try to enter text within a drawing into this area whenever I make changes to the title block info it resizes and puts my text within the boundaries of the title block.

Thanks

Put the revision notes onto a specific layer, e.g. create a new layer called "Revisions".

Hide the layer when you add the title block: the title block auto-sizes to fit the visible extents of the drawing, so the hidden notes will be ignored.

Once the title block is inserted, show the Revisions layer and, optionally, make it your current layer to add more revision notes.

I hope this is helpful.

The problem with this method is that if anything is added to the drawing that affects its current extents, the title block will be resized, thus the revision text will be out of place and out of scale when turned on.

It would be nice if it could be added to the dashboard/project details so that a list is maintained there and gets added every time the title block is updated. That way users could go to the dashboard and add the new revision and notes before updating the title block. Could it be added to the wish list?.

Yes, that is true, but a simple workaround would simply be to group the existing notes and resize (proportionally, by holding the Shift key) to fit the new title block. But as you say, this is only if there have been changes to the drawing significant enough to change its overall extents.

We will of course add the request to the development wishlist.

Is this request still in the list or is this feature allready included?
If it is included how does it works?
