Hi,

The file you download from our website is an installation program - when you run it it will install certain settings then call a browser, take you to the Stardraw website, and complete the installation online.

When you perform the installation you need to be sure of the following:
1) You have administrative privilege on your machine (i.e. you can install programs)
2) You have an internet connection
3) You are using Internet Explorer (5 or later)
4) If your browser prompts you to install any ActiveX controls you must do so - see the attached image to see where these messages are shown.

If all of the above are true, please let me know, with as much relevant detail as possible, where the installation program gets to, and what is the last thing you see on-screen - screengrabs are often helpful.

I have the same problem. When I'm installing the DEMO of Stardraw lighting2D, it says:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. Het systeembestand is niet geschikt voor MS-DOS- en Microsoft Windows-toepassingen. Kies Sluiten om de toepassingen af te sluiten.

Translated: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The systemfile is not suitable for MS- DOS- and Microsoft Windows-applications. Chose quit for shutting down the application.

When you chose ignore, there's nothing happen... What can I do?

Hi Rene,

The problem is that something is stopping the extraction/installation of required files after download.  This is something local to your machine and not a problem inherent in the download files, nor is it something that we can reproduce.

You need to investigate your machine and find out whether any configuration settings or applications are preventing extraction and installation.  The common causes are:

1) Logging in as a user without administrative privileges
2) Use of anti-virus software

Without having direct access to your own computer there is not much more that we can suggest.  Please let me know how you get on.
