Is there any tool in stardraw to add a note to a sheet?

I need a leader with an arrow at one end of a line with text on the other....

Is this possible??

Hi Matt,

There isn't a single tool for this - just use the Text tool and add a Line.

An arrow tool, Just a line with an arrow at the end of it, would be helpful for a future release.

We've recently announced the Beta program for Stardraw Design 2010. Among many other features in this version, we fully support single and double-ended arrows on lines.

We will be shortly inviting all current subscribers of Stardraw AV 2007 to join the Beta program.

Hi Matt,

I know you're kidding about the Mac thing, but just for other readers of the forum I'd like to clarify that we have no plans to release native Mac versions of any of our applications.  However, we have many, many users who run Stardraw apps very happily on their Macs; some even say that they run faster on the Mac hardware than on a comparable PC.

Anyone can run a Stardraw app on their Mac using a Windows emulator like Parallels or, on Intel-based Macs, you can use Boot Camp to run your machine as a native Windows PC.

Then for anyone reading through this thread, I am currently running Stardraw on my MacBook Pro with parallels.

The computer itself is a bit slow, however it does work well with Stardraw.

I believe that with a newer MacBook Pro there would be no lag at all.

I'm having a problem with my MacBook Pro and parallels where it won't grab the hasp key in parallels because it says that another program is using it. Any ideas? I am running windows XP in parallels from a boot camp installation.

Thanks,

Trey

Hi Trey,

This sounds very like the issue under discussion at the Parallels forum here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=32686

Check out the thread and the suggested fix.
