Ok, so I can easily enter text. A label here, a title there. No problem. Now I want to add a number of notes. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to do this. It seems like i can do it using the text tool, but if I make a mistake it is not easily corrected. Is there an easier way to add a large amount of text to a drawing. FOr example if I wanted to add the following: (See! I can cut and paste into here, why not into a drawing!)Keyed Notes:
1. Provide 1 - Category 5 communications cable.
2. Provide 1 - West Penn #293 No. 18 AWG twisted shielded pair for each classroom
or area as indicated in device matrix, individually home-run to new punch down
Blocks. Maintain continuity of shield. Tap Speakers as indicated in device matrix.
3. E.C. to provide dedicated 20 amp isolated ground circuit.
4. Daisy chain speakers as indicated in device matrix. Provide 1 - West Penn #293 No. 18 AWG twisted shielded pair for each circuit. Tap Speakers as indicated in device matrix.
5. Not Used.
6. Locate per owners direction.
7. Not Used
8. Wall plate by PSC. Single gang electrical box by EC. Locate per owners direction.
9. All terminations to be made on Telco “66” type punch down blocks mounted on ¾” plywood backboard. All cables to be labeled with current room numbers.
10. Provide 2 - West Penn #293 No. 18 AWG, Twisted Shielded pair.
11. Provide 1 - West Penn #293 No. 18 AWG, Twisted Shielded pair for each existing speaker circuit.
General Notes:
1. All part numbers refer to non-plenum wire. Contact PSC for Plenum part numbers.
2. Pre-test all “existing to remain” and “re-use existing” devices prior to start of demolition. Document test. Contact PSC @ 585 -742-1280 to arrange test.
3. Drawing for submittal use only. Not for construction until approved by consulting engineer.
