What's the difference between dogleg and cable

Hello,

I'm currently reviewing Stardraw AV using the AV Demo and I've followed the tutorials and read the manual.

I'm still a little confused about when to use teh doglegtool and when to use the cabletool,

Is it possible to use cable to connect different machines ??

I hope there's somebody out there who could give this little dutch guy a push in teh right direction.

Hi Bart,

The difference is that the Dogleg is always made of 3 lines, two horizontal and one vertical, while the Cable can contain as many lines as you want - click to start it, click once to add each corner, and doubleclick to finish.

This means that you should use the Dogleg for simple connections, and the Cable for connections with more complicated routing.

I hope this is helpful
