How to manage the Offline symbols library ?

I would like not to use some libraries for the moment.
The function “hide” is not permanent.
How must I proceed ?

Thanks !

PS : What's new with Stardraw A/V 2007 ? I haven't see particular things ?

Your Offline library is a local, sycnhronized copy of your selected manufacturers chosen when you Synchronized Manufacturers.

If you would like to modify the list of manufacturers, then please perform a LiveUpdate for your product after which you will be given the choice to choose your manufacturers for synchronization.

As for what's new in Stardraw A/V 2007, please have a look at:

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply but, ... I want to manage my local Offline library.

I know all of this stuff to sync manufacturers. Imagine that I want to erase some manufacturers of my Offline library.

If you mean your local "My Libraries", then these are files stored on your hard disk, the location of which is specified under the Options Menu and choosing Library Directories.

If you mean your "Offline Libraries", then as mentioned before, these are a local copy of your selected Online manufacturers. You need to go online to change this list and then perform a synchronize. Note that the synchronize will add any new libraries to your Offline Libraries and won't delete any previously synchronized manufacturers. If you prefer, you can start your synchronization process from scratch by deleting your Stardraw Offline.mdb file in your Offline Libraries directory.

Ok ! It is the answer, I didn't know if I could erase this database file without risk (*.mdb)

Thanks ! But I can't (again) manage the offline lib. Add some folders, erase others. It could be great if it was possible to recall database contents (specific manufacturers for specific job ..)

Bye !!!

We did look into hiding, unhiding, adding and removing your own folders within the Offline Libraries, but it became too confusing too quickly and instead we settled on the current implementation. We will revisit this tricky subject in a future release.
