Hello
Is there a certain "best" practice for importing CAD Symbol blocks into SD in the custom user defined products? We would like to custom make the symbols using our custom CAD blocks, currently we are importing the attributes in the [] format and it seems to be fine, is that the process? Essentially we want an easy import/export between CAD and SD for user defined product symbols, i.e keeping the attributes of the blocks and symbols the same.

Our problem is now that importing a symbol with attributes to SD from CAD, works fine. Lets say we want to export it after adding symbols on a layout, the symbols are not exporting correctly, seems to be glitched. Are there drawing standards we need follow? i.e line sizes, type of drawings etc..?

So that we can understand what you're seeing, please email techsupport@stardraw.com with a sample that allows us to replicate what you're doing with the exact same data, and please describe exactly the steps that you take, and the exact issue that you mean when you say 'glitched'.
