I'm creating some custom symbols to be used on floor plans, and I'm running into text alignment issues after exporting each symbol. I create the custom symbol in a Stardraw .s07 project, export it as a .s01 file, but when I try to use the symbol in a project (from the symbol browser) the text alignment has changed. I attached a PDF to this post showing the before and after symbols with the text alignment issue. Hoping you have a suggestion as to why this is happening. Thanks.

Please email the original .S07 file to techsupport@stardraw.com so that we can attempt to reproduce what you describe, using the same data that you are working with. Thanks.

Thanks for sending the file. For those following this thread, the problem is that the .s01 format does not support a Vertical Alignment property with value “Center”.
The fix is to use “Near” instead and re-position text accordingly in the .S07 file, before exporting to .S01.
