Feature Request - auto creation of feather

When creating a new feather, I would like to have the option to auto-create it's corresponding mate. It could go something like this:
1) Create a new "Audio To" feather, entering the Feather ID and Label in the attributes.
2) Have a button at the top of the Properties window to auto-generate it's corresponding mate. In this case, an "Audio From" feather.
3) The new "Audio From" feather would appear/dovetail right next to the original, having the same Feather ID and Label attributes.
4) The user would then drag it to the appropriate location/sheet, and edit the Label as necessary.
An alternative to the new feather auto-appearing on the drawing is for it to go into a queue, similar to the Available Symbols list. You would then drag it onto the sheet when/where it is needed. This could also serve as a verification that both "ends" of the feather have been connected.

Hi Cory,

Thanks for the suggestion - we appreciate that there is scope for automation of, and improvement to, the process of creation and management of Feathers.

I also would like to see a linking indication of the Feathers so if you press 1 feather, should the feather with the same ID have and indication activated so it'll be easeier to see it.
Also the possibillity to colour them would be fine, the you can hace Audio in Blu. Video in Red a.s.o.

In Stardraw Design 7.4 the Cables View gives an overview of all Cable objects in your project, which includes Feather details meaning that you can now see and manage all Cables, and their Feathers, in one view.  You can use the Cable View's advanced Sorting and Filtering capabilities to arrange and structure the view to make it easy to identify related Cables and Feathers.

The Feather symbols available in the Symbol Browser under Stardraw Online Symbols | Feathers have outlines that are color-coded.  To change the outline or fill color of a Feather, use the Unlock Cursor to set Line Style | Color and/or Fill Color to your preference.

I hope this is helpful.

Hi Rob!
Thanks for the information.
This was new for me. I'm still using 7.3 version :-)
