Hi SD Team,
I usually undock both Product/Symbol Browser (left screen) and the Properties panels (right screen) to get more space for the drawings (center screen) and because I want to have the menu / tools / drawing tabs and status bar above-under the centered active drawing, extending the SD7 window across multiple screens is not an option.
But I'm facing three 'not user friendly' behaviors:
1) Undocking Product/Symbol and Properties panels is not persistent after exiting SD7.
2) Undocking Product/Symbol and Properties panels is not applied to all drawings within a project.
3) When switching between drawings, respective Product/Symbol and Properties panels are not active (bring to front). Same if clicking on a Product/Symbol and Properties panel, respective drawing is not selected.
I can cope with the two first points but is it possible to add the last point in your development wishlist ?

Hi Hughes,
Yes, support for a truly floatable Product Browser etc is already on our wishlist but this is a very significant change and will require a major version release. The issue is that each drawing has its own Product Browser, Properties Grid etc so today, if you have 10 drawings in a project, you actually have 10 Product Browsers, 10 Properties Grids and 10 Available Symbols Palettes each with their own states and locations. The change you seek will require a low level change to the application architecture.
