Sychronization Problem

Hello,

I downloaded the AV program a couple of days ago and was in the process of doing the synchonization process of all manufacturers so I can work offline and also access the products much quicker.

I had to stop the downloading as a technician had arrived to fix a problem with my computer and reboot it.

I think to myself - okay will start it again when I have more time today........  Go into program files find updater .exe and double click on it.  It starts a program called Stardraw Audio Updater and overwrites my current library files with much less content and erases every other AV file.

So I will try system restore - no good, did not work.

So I will try to fully uninstall software and start again.  Worked but when I go to start synchronization again, it won't give me the option of downloading the previous files that were overwritten and lost - as it thinks I have already downloaded them - must be linked to login.

So herein lies the problem.  Now I try to use this program, all AMX library files - and other A files are missing and I cannot get them back.  Furthermore when I go to the program files to look for the folder path I am told under C:\Program Files\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw AV\My Symbols - they are not here.

When I open Stardraw application and go to Offline Libraries, there are some of the latest ones that I downloaded with the reinstall.  But I cannot get the old ones back - even when I did the reinstall and went to the sychronization process again, I made sure all the boxes were checked - including AMX, but when it went to the next step of confirmation, the A to Analog Way names were missing.

Can someone tell me where or how I can download a full set of library files and then where and how to install them so I don't have to wait for my slow and congested internet connection to open the online directory - which is my only remaining option.

Great program from the initial look - worthy of the money in time saving.  Need to get this problem sorted out so I can have a good look around it.

Any ideas,

Thanks

IC

The best course of action will be to delete the Offline Libraries, which are held in a .MDB database file in the main program installation directory, then re-synchronize.

Delete the file "Stardraw Offline.mdb" found in C:\Program Files\Stardraw.com Ltd\Stardraw AV

Then go to Stardraw A/V's LiveUpdate page and Synchronize Manufacturers:

http://www.stardraw.com/products/stardrawav/LiveUpdateLang.asp

Please do not use the Updater application again - this is only used for initial installation.

I hope this is helpful - please post again if you continue to experience problems.

Kind regards

Rob
