Objects randomly moving/drawing extending

Is there any reason why I can be working on a drawing and randomly items start shifting to the right, and off of the grid alignment? I can't see obviously there's anything that I am doing wrong, but the longer I work the more things I find that have moved. It appears to be slightly progressive, so that the left hand side is all ok, but the further right I go the worse it gets. This is happening to symbols and lines/cables, which is a complete nightmare as I find myself continually realigning everything. It's almost as if the drawing is extending itself to the right.

I'm guessing since having a quick search through the forum and not finding a similar thread that no-one else has had this issue. It's a massive drawing and I really can't restart it.

Hi Chris,

Without seeing the drawing it is hard to comment - perhaps you could attach the project file to a post, or email it to us?

If it's a 'progressive' thing, perhaps you've changed the grid size, or are repeatedly copying/pasting (or using Paste Array) with an offset that is not exactly a multiple of the grid.

Please do share the file with us so that we can see what might be happening.

Thanks for the reply.

At the moment there's nothing much to show as out of desperation I've had to group everything bring everything back into line from that right hand side.

Nothing has changed with the grid spacing although the number of snaps has been increased/decreased a number of times esp. when working out from the drawing. The trouble is it's inconsistent, and some lines can be fine, but others move.

Paste array hasn't been used - all symbols were dragged in as and when required.

Is there any way of just sending that one drawing or so I have to attached the whole design file? Although as I said at the moment there is actually nothing to see as I have rectified it... for now.

Hi Chris,

The whole project file would be required.
